Always a Read Error at 14:55 in EAC

I always get a read error at 14:55 when ripping with EAC even if the "error correction" boxes do not fill up. How do I fix this?

Thanks

That´s not possible...You cannot get a read error without the "error correction" boxes has illuminated. That´s the way EAC knows that a read error has occured. -Martin.

Edit: Typo.

Sorry, you're right. Yeah, but it still goes straight trough all of the boxes at 14:55 on most CDs. It storms through the boxes and it looks like the computer isn't thinking too hard.

Perhaps it's a hardware issue?

Sounds about right, except not the computer hardware, but the Audio CD itself.
I'd check to see if there are any spots on the CD where light can cleary shine through from the other side, like tiny holes.  Those can generaly cause a disc to be unreadable.

Seems like a problem with the drive. There may be a bump of dirt on the rail which moves the head. Try to clean it.
