Media Library not working properly

I installed foobar v1.1.17 on a new computer and when I added a local folder to be monitored, some mp3 files don't show up in the library. The status is "monitoring", not error. File types are restricted to *, exclude *.CUE (default settings). I've tried restarting foobar and rebooting Windows but it hasn't worked. The mp3 files do play properly when I drag them manually into foobar. Any ideas?

Update: it's probably due to the mp3 files not having proper meta tags. After adding album names, artist names, etc, the songs started to show up.
