Setting play/pause/etc.. to Fn keys

Is there any way to set play/pause/stop/back/forward to Fn keys? I have to press Fn and one of the arrow keys to do this (example: Fn + down arrow = play/pause).

I tried to add it in keyboard shortcuts but nothing happens. It remains blank as if I'm not pressing anything. These media keys work in Windows Media Player so there must be some way to get them to work in foobar I assume.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

If you feel this is suitable for Support, i.e. a problem or shortcoming of foobar2000 itself, please at least follow the rules of the subforum and provide some information about your setup and circumstances that might enable other users to help you.

For example: Are you running the latest version of foobar2000? Which version of Windows? And, perhaps most importantly, which keyboard?

If your answer to the latter is something by Logitech, you may find searching to be informative. For example, use the in-built Google search with something like foobar2000 logitech keys.

Sorry for not doing that. I'm using the latest version of foobar2000 (1.1.11).

Basically, the default ones that come with the install. There's nothing in console to show/type here. Not sure what else would be helpful for this problem.

The only way I know of to bind Fn keys with Asus laptops is with Asus Notebook Keys. Note that with this program, you may also configure Fn keys to simulate normal MultiMedia keys.

Thank you, was wishing there would be something easier, but I guess this works.

I use an HP wireless board and the forward/stop/reverse/play keys all work in the foobar2000 screen. The arrow keys allow me to scroll up and down though the playlist or track list. I run the latest foobar2000 edition and also the deskband control component.
