Inaccurate ID3 tags

I have a few songs that came with certain ID3 tags, but I edited them in iTunes. They're still displaying the original tags in foobar2K. How can I work around this? I saw the FAQ entry about using the writer compatibility mode, but my problem is the opposite of that.

Will be helpful to know what tag fields are you having trouble with?

Unlike all previous versions, the Media Library now automatically tracks changes made to the content of your Media Library folders. It is no longer necessary or even possible to manually remove dead items or refresh the content of the Media Library.

However, the changes I made were before I had even installed foobar. The tags that aren't updating are mainly the artist tags.

Can you take the time to be specific. Otherwise might as well give you a random answer.

Mainly artist tags------well what else.
Specifics, please. One example would be helpful.

What is the tag field called in ITunes that you edited, and what is the value that is showing in iTunes.

How are you viewing the tags for that track in Foobar. In a playlist, or right click > properties. What foobar tag field is showing the wrong information.
