KOSS - Which one: Sparkplug/The Plug?

I want a pair of cheap headphones and has always heard great things about KOSS, but how are the quality compared to other earcanal-phones?

I've used Sony MDR-EX71 which had great bass, but was heavy on the treble. Today I use something that somes with my Walkman Phone HPM-75, which has a great sound although slightly dull imho.

I love the design of the "Sparkplug" but how does the sound compare? I Hear that the sound of "The Plug" is "tinny" which sounds like they may compare a little to the EX71's.

Anyone with experiences?
Can't wait for a HD-AAC encoder :P

In that case, stay away from "The Plug".
A own a pair of Sony EX71 and moved to Shure a year ago because of the same resons as you. My brother used to have "The Plug" and I remember them being like the EX71 but even more extreme, though I never compared them directly. Anyway, they are no real improvement over your EX71.

Sparkplug is more isolated, keeps more of the low freq, more bass.
To be honest, I have used both and today I can say both suck.

You maybe want to try out the new KOSS, KEB20 and KEB24
Similar to the plug and sparkplug, new models

SENNHEISER PMX-200 are my fav for portable use, great bass with clear sound.
SENNHEISER PMX-200 isn't a earplug model...

My friend has the sparkplug.
Although he had no problem with the sound quality there are problems with them.
At times they just fall out, they seem to irritate the ear, and they get dirty damn quickly.
