I just finished a new version of my foobar Design:

Not as sophisticated as some Skins in here, but I think it's pretty decent for my limited designer-skills.
I've been using ColumnsUI with panel-stack-splitter and a few other components so far. I just discovered that wsh_panel_mod might be even more powerful. Unfortunately I do not have the necessary programming skills (yet) in JScript, but I'll keep it in mind.

Hey guys,
this is my layout and I'm pretty happy with it.



It doesn't have any control-buttons as I use my notebook's media-buttons.
There are only a couple of things leftthat still bug me. First, quick search opens search results in default, columns ui opens filters in filter results and switches to filter results (playing), so I have to deal with 3 filter playlists all the time. But I get usd to it fast. Then I would love to see that the different CIU-filters affect each other. I know I can arrange that, but still it's not possible to make every filter react to all others.

I may try to make it switch to a tinyier version (how do you guys do that?). And I still havent figured out how to make a dark skin, at least the scroll-bars stay white and look ugly...

But the rest of the layout and coding is just perfect for me and I'm pretty proud because I have no idea of coding and still, after reading a lot, got the result I was looking for.

What is the composent used to display this library view ? I really like how the artworks are displayed, i think it is not esplaylist since esplaylist makes big spaces between each artworks, so what it is ?

Two suggestion. Artwork and lyricsk would better independently; Activate now playing shortcut function is needed.

i was attaching the settings exported from elplaylist, but cant find a way to attach files

in settings > script > track list

pay attention to this line  ...
$puts(title,$ifequal($crc32(%ALBUM ARTIST%),$crc32(Various),%title% / %artist%,%title%))

in my setup, all various artists albums have artist name = "Various" ... this is why i had to compare artist name to Various ( $crc32(Various))

this line is repeated in
settings > script > group header
settings > script > per second

i dont think i changed anything in settings > grouping, but here it goes anyway
group format: %album artist% | $if(%album%,%album% |[||%disc%],%artist%%title%)
sort format: %album artist% - $if(%album%,%date%) - %album% - %discnumber% - %tracknumber% - %title%

It's a nice layout, sadly it has some pretty buggy, crash-causing components. Many are not updated either.

i have found out about that the hard way, but it's not crashing on me ... it's actually freezing.

it seems replacing the lyrics component fixes the problem (as per another thread), but haven't had time to do so

There are also two autoplaylists based on foo_playcount_mod tags. One for Most popular songs, one for most recent. Maybe I'll add lyric show and peakmeter.
