Long time EAC user , just happened to find CueRipper in my cuetools folder. As far as i can see , it generates the same log tables like EAC. It also has a secure ripping mode like EAC , however the ripping process took a lot less time when compared to EAC (which is usually long)

Is there any stark difference between EAC 1.0 prebeta 2 and CueRipper (which came with cuetools) apart from the ripping time?

looking for some insight into this! Thanks!

They do seem to be pretty similar tools. There's a comparison page here: http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?ti...n_of_CD_rippers. Based on that chart, it appears that they have the same functionality except that with C2 error detection, EAC uses it only once while CueRipper uses it on rereads as well, CueRipper can check across different pressings for AccurateRip while EAC can't, and EAC has a wider selection of metadata and album art.
