How can I delete a UI element "container"?

Hello,

I am frustrated at finding out how I can remove the "container" in the bottom of this screenshot:

Also, how do I delete that additional toolbar on the top (circled red)?

view menu>layout>enable layout editing mode.
right click the playlist>cut
now right click the top toolbar header and see if the whole right hand pane is highlighted. if it is, select paste and the playlist will replace everything there
if not then right click the splitter that separates the 2 empty areas you now have. this might take more than one attempt because you have to be precise. that should highlight everything and again, just select paste.

then go back into the view menu and turn off layout editing mode.

That worked perfectly, thank you!!
