CT-aacPlus and MP3Pro

To match the same quality of MP3Pro at 64kbps, what is the bitrate one shoud use for CT-aacPlus? Is it possible aacPlus + VBR?

Well, I don't know. Never listened to AAC+
But, according to MPEG listening tests, it should be around 48kbps. Just a guess...
