Playcount issue

I was unable to locate a troubleshooting or help forum, so if this is not the proper place for posts like this, please move it to the appropriate area.

I was having a very bizarre issue where, after downloading a decoder for Microsoft Word Viewer, the font size of foobar and only foobar became incredibly small. After uninstalling and reinstalling foobar, the issue was resolved, but my playcount add-in doesn't work anymore. I successfully managed to import playcount data from my file tags, but now they won't update. On top of this, the "stop after current" option will not stay checked. If I check it, after a song finishes, it will uncheck itself. Uninstalling and reinstalling foobar a second time did nothing. I even tried using the "stop after current" option and having the playcount of a song update before importing playcount data from file tags after the second install, but the problem occurs prior to the import as well (meaning, obviously, that I reset all application data after every install, and even default settings with v1.0.3 still don't prevent these two problems from occurring).

Is this unsolvable?

Edit: While it's unfortunate that the creators of foobar do not provide older versions on their website, I was able to find some after a quick Google search. Reverting to an older version resolved the "stop after current" issue, but the playcount problem remains: no files ever update to show when a song has been played again. After reverting to the older version (0.9.5.6), however, I get the following error messages upon closing foobar. Note that these errors do not occur if I don't play a song, or if I play a song but don't let it finish; they only appear if I close foobar after having played at least one song to the end.

I can solve the stop after current for the latest version, check under Preferences -> Playback, the checkbox marked "Reset when stopping" needs to be unchecked.
