Is there a simple way to contribute to freedb

I didn't get freedb infos for some CDs I wanted to rip, so added the tags manually and now I would like to send them to the freedb database (e.g. audio books are present for the first few CDs, but not the rest). Is this possible with foobar2000?

Btw: A search led me to two threads. One said freedb is or was dead (I definitely got hits that were younger than the thread - 2006) another one (from 2012) said contribution is not possible. Maybe the situation today is different...
