[TROLLING] From: Vinyl is equivalent to which digital bit-depth and sa

...There is a reason why vinyl was dumped by just about everybody with a brain in the 1980s and it has to do with bad sound quality...

...Obviously, you've never done anything technical with digital audio or done any studies of it based on credible sources.

I just gotta give you some friendly advice. There are some people around here get impatient with the intellectually lazy and the otherwise intellectually challenged.

I realize you're far more knowledgeable on these topics than many who post here...especially first-time posters who didn't read your extensive history of battling "audiophoolery" or whatever, but is being a condescending jerk always the only way to set people straight? I understand that you're passionate about this, and the mods give you a goodly amount of freedom due to your professional experience, but could I suggest that not everyone on the internet is trying to be your enemy?

Have you never talked from your ass before on any subject you're not well-steeped in? If you have it wouldn't necessarily make you "intellectually challenged;" it would rather make you human like the rest of us. Or people who don't know everything about everything but would still like to discuss it anyway sans the snobbery and insults.
The Loudness War is over. Now it's a hopeless occupation.
