Wireless Speakers

This forum comes highly recommended from a friend.

I have a two floor place and need music on the second floor.  (The music is being produced from a computer on the first floor).  Unfortunately, because of the setup, wiring is not really an option.  Therefore, I'm looking for wireless speakers.  The sounds has to be good, but not great.  The range needs to be good.  And the speakers need to be small, preferrably with the option to run on batteries.  For now, the best option I can come up with is the following:

A-250

However, because of the space, I really need two speakers on the second floor.  The problem is, only one A250 speaker can run off of a computer or MP3 player.  In other words, I think I would need to make identical playlists on two different computers and start the playlists at the exact same moment to in fact have two speakers working on the second floor.  Would that even work?  Can someone recommend a more ideal solution?

I did try the search function, but didn't come up with anything.  However, very possible I don't know how to use it correctly.

Thanks,

Oscar

Instead of wireless speakers you might be better off streaming your music from your computer to your second floor stereo unit. That's what I do. I use the Sirocco. It works flawlessly. Apple's Airport Express does a similar thing except it is limited to working only with iTunes. The Sirocco will stream any audio from any software app.

Thank you.  I appreciate the suggestion and it is something that I will need to consider.

I should have been more descriptive in my problem.  The second floor is a restaurant.  The speakers will just be providing backround music.  The speakers will need to be on opposite sides of the floor, and again, unfortunately wiring is not really an option.  So, the Sirocco may be a good solution, but I'll have to buy two and two speakers as well.

Thanks,

Oscar
