Blu ray Audio disc

Hi I have a collection of hi rez audio files in flac & wav mostly stereo some are 5.1 on my hard drive, and I would like to burn them to a blu ray disc so they can be played on a sony bdp s380.Is this possible?  I should say I have burned cd's for years ,but although I have had my pioneer blu ray burner for over a year now this is my first blu ray burning attempt.
Please what software will I need, and any tips, suggestions would be most welcome.

NOTE - I have not authored a Blu-Ray disc yet...

Have you ever made a DVD? It's similar to making a DVD...  To get the standard Blu-Ray format(s) and file structure you need a Blu-Ray Authoring application (i.e. Corel Video Studio, Sony Vegas, etc.). 

Most DVD & Blu-Ray players will play a variety of non-standard formats, such as MP3 or WAV, and maybe even FLAC.  Of course, any software that can burn a Blu-Ray disc can burn audio files (in any format) directly to the disc.  But if you want a disc that will play on all Blu-Ray players, you'll need authoring software to make a compliant disc.  And of course if you want a menu, you'll need authoring software to do that.

If you don't need a "real" Blu-Ray disc, try burning a variety of formats to a disc (with whatever burning software you have) to find out what works with your player.  For experimental purposes you can use a CD or DVD disc, or an erasable Blu-ray disc.  If your player can play a FLAC burned to a CD, it should be able to play a FLAC burned to a Blu-Ray.  (If you're burning CDs, make sure you don't  burn an audio-CD...  Most burning applications will happily convert FLAC or MP3 to standard audio-CD.)

I'm not sure, but I doubt consumer software can make a Blu-Ray Audio Disc (BD-A) but you should be able to make a normal Blu-Ray video disc with a still image (such as the album artwork) or a slideshow, or an "image" of the artist/title/album text, or blank background with lyrics as subtitles, etc.

Consumer authoring software is also unlikely to support all of 7 official Blu-Ray audio formats.  i.e., If you want lossless surround, make sure the application supports it.

Frankly I think you'll find more info at the video forums. Try the Doom9 forums for instance. I know one popular blu-ray authoring tool is BD Rebuilder, while it's used more to "shrink" movie blu-rays, might work for your purpose.
