Clearing "Memorized: Values

I have been searching in vain to discover how to clear "memorized values" I have typed when adding fields in the properties window. I have been known to make occasional (or worse) typos, and anytime I have done that and (entered it with the enter key) it seems to remain forever when I go to add the correct value again. Any help would be appreciated.

Right click on the down arrow of the of the "Field name" field in the "Add new field" window. In the context menu which pops up you can choose "Wipe history" or "Remove this history item". The second command only appears in the context menu when you have selected an item from the history.
