[DOUBLE POST] Custom Script ?

Hi All,

My previous post "Foobar has a mind of its own, Odd behaviour" produced no helpful results so I'm opting for one last effort to find some assistance here, else I'll need to move to a media player that works ...

Is it at all possible that someone can write a script that makes Foobar ignore my entire computer until I actually click on the program itself and ask it to do something, i.e. play this song, this album etc?

At present, if Foobar is the ONLY open program is will generally (but not always) behave like you'd expect, but if I'm working in another program while listening to Foobar it seems that the media player is taking my keystrokes in the other program as meant for itself and acting on them. I need this to STOP or else I must consider the program so glitchy that it's unusable.

Please ask questions if I am being unclear. Not sure what you might need to know ...

Cheers.

Just disable the keyboard shortcuts in the options or at least turn off the global flag.

Note. I'd removed all keyboard shortcuts and unchecked Global since Day One. Neither seem to have any effect on Foobar's behaviour—it does whatever it wants, whenever it wants apparently.

I really like the player on every other level, so I really don't want to have to dump it for acting tha biatch. If it could be made to 'only speak when spoken to', I'd marry it.
