EAC DataBase Question

Hello all...

  • I have searched for this question, but I haven't found it; if it has been answered, my apologies, and a link would be appreciated.

OK, so I'm ripping on two computers--a desktop and a notebook.  I'd like to consolidate all the info (database) on my desktop, so if I were to pop in the CD, it would have the info.

Any idea on how to accomplish this?

Much appreciation.

If you were starting from scratch I think you could do this by copying the CDDB.sdf file from EAC's profile directory (C.\users\*username*\appdata\roaming\eac) between computers everytime you update the database.

If you already have 2 differing CDDB.sdf with distinct CDs on each you'll have to merge them somehow, and I don't know how/if it's possible to do so.

Did you mention your EAC version to a database?

Ish...yeah, I've already got 2 databases...but I'll see if it's possible to do what the banned guy suggested and see if I can merge them.

My apologies for being late...I've been very busy.

Again, thanks.
