shuffling through tracks by itself

This happens to me often. I will be listening to music and Foobar decides to scroll/shuffle through all the tracks in the playlist only playing a fraction of a second of each song. It continues again if i restart foobar. I can go days and days without this happening. It is completely random but annoying. I can't listen to music until it decides it doesn't want to do this anymore.

any ideas?

do you have some sort of shortcut set to foo_preview. maybe you have it set to global and it is getting triggered via a shortcut that you use elsewhere

No, not that I know of. I didn't even know that existed but will investigate
