Blocking tag update operations.

Ok so I understand the advantage of blocking the tag update operations... but, is there an easy way to circumvent this?

Example:

I rip a CD, then use the freedb component to update the tags, but the tags are not actually written to the files because I have blocked the tag update operations.

Is there a way to have the tags written to the files without going all the way through the preferences menu, turning off the blocking feature, re-tagging the files again, then turning on the blocking feature once more?

hmmmm, okay, sorry. I didn't really try this before.

It would make sense though to change this behaviour if possible.

foobar2000 will never write tags to read-only files.

So I would recommend turning the blocking off, and then setting the 'read-only' attribute on the files you're done with.

Hmmm I wonder why I didn't think of that...

Anyhow, the info will still get updated in the database right?
