Autoplaylist - populating only at startup

Hi,
would it be possible to populate autoplaylist only at startup instead of keeping all contents in playlist files (makes them huge sometimes - harder/longer to backup foobar configuration)

*bump*
please - an option not to store content of autoplaylist after shutting down in the playlists/ directory? Either way they are initilized during startup and right now they are the only options to have library search presets saved (well, when I mentioned it - those would be even better because they wouln't clog your playlist switcher  )

how "huge" are the files you are talking about? Do you keep non-human readable data in your file's tags?

it does seem unnecessary to store actual music files in autoplaylists if they're dynamic.  why not store actual query parameters.  i have 19 autoplaylists amounting for over 24MB, is that really neccessary?

usually 20-30MB, sometimes more when I go 'playlist happy'  and by 'huge' I meant 'some autoplaylist string' vs a few megabytes of text data...
I have only text tags, but I tend to store there a lot of information...

Force sorted auto playlists could be stored without the playlist without losing any information. On the other hand, manually sorted auto playlists would lose their track order if they were rebuilt on every startup.

hm... that's a good point that I've missed (I just assumed if someone used autoplaylist then automatic sorting would also be desirable).

Anyhow - would it be possible to do it so for auto-sorted playlist only?
