Console sfx playback

Not sure, but can wavpack sfx play the files as well?

I vaguely remember it could do it, might be wrong.
I have tried to search for this information, but found nothing, please advise.

Console sfx playback

it's upx-ed self extracting archive with wav file inside
it can't be played by itself, but you can make some batch file with sox i.e. or some other command-line wav player

this is so strange, I vaguely but vividly remember doing just that, playing a win32 console sfx'd lossless file, but have no idea how I did it,
& now that I read your reply, I am not even sure it was wavpack
