Problem with 0.7.2: PAUSE takes 99% of CPU

foobar 0.7.2 on windows XP:

1. launch Task Manager;
2. play a MP3 with foobar;
3. click PAUSE button on the toolbar;
4. check the CPU taken by foobar.

I get 0% here.  Possibly its one of your plugins that is causing this?  What plugins do you have installed?

Using Case's special installer with all plugin's installed.

Bug - possibly, but not our one. Please read forum rules appendix. (topic title edited)
When reporting such issues, please provide full system specs and what output settings you use (output format, output method (waveOut/DirectSound/etc), whatever), otherwise you can't expect any useful reply.

Sorry about the other post. Not used to this layering of forums.

XP1700+
ECS mb with onboard SiS 7012

Goes up to 99% when pausing .mpc too. Haven't tried other formats.

Playback thread priority Max
use Album gain
16bit fixed point

Wave Out
-Microsoft Soundmapper
-1000ms buffer

more info needed?


Edit:
Changed output to directsound. CPU-usage dropped to 0%.

0.7.6 -> DS 2.0 -> CPU Usage 0% (when paused)
0.7.6 -> waveOut -> CPU Usage 0% (when paused)

I tried with both mp3 & mpc files.

it's fixed in 0.7.6, not that it was broken for me...

have you tried upgrading ? _and_ i'm using case's special installer /w all + a few more components installed.
