How I lost my mp3 and other file formats

I was deleting quicktime from my computer using Revo uninstaller and I deleted all the files for mp3 and other formats. How do I get them back. I am a newbie. my computer is a ASUS x55u.

Use system restore to restore your machine to a state before you ran Revo Uninstaller or before you installed Quicktime. And you may want to rethink your Revo use in the future.

If you are just needing to restore file associations (so, for example, MP3s will play in a particular media player), that's something you can usually do from the media player's settings. In Windows it's also something you can do via the Default Programs control panel.

I'm not sure questions about how to use windows PCs really count as mp3 technology. They probably don't even belong on this message board.
