HD 650 vs RS325e with Asus Xonar STX

Hey!

I posted here a few days ago and have since then got myself a soundcard. I just really can't decide about the headphones.
The choice is between the HD650's and the RS325e, I have litsned to them both (in store) for approx. 20 min each and i like the sound of them both.

So the question is, purely based on specs and your guys' opinion, which should i opt for, considering both: Sound and Comfortability.

PS. I will be replacing the earpads on the RS325 for an overear style one if I decide to go for them.

You're the only person who can decide which set of headphones you like best. Given that you like the sound quality in both of those sets, the choice comes down to comfort. Pick the ones you can wear for the the longest time without discomfort, and that's your winner :-)

Or, choose the lower cost one, or the one you like the appearance of more...

I assume you mean Grado SR325e?

I have a pair of Grado SR225's and the ear cushions were starting to deteriorate, leaving black flakes on my ears.  I bought some aftermarket larger "G-Cush" replacements, and like you, I think I like prefer the fit of the larger ones too.    (As far as I can tell it didn't change the sound and I didn't attempt any before/after listening tests.)
