I need some laptop USB headphone device recommendations.

Hey all. The headphone out on my laptop is kinda flimsy. I'd like to run a soundcard/headphone from the USB output. I see a lot of laptop USB soundcards, but do they have headphone drive capability? Any recommendations for something with decent drive and sound quality would be appreciated. This laptop never leaves the house, so size and/or portability isn't an issue.

Thanks all.
Artie

How much do you want to spend?  The Fiio stuff is a pretty good deal given the (likely more than you need) specs:

There are also cheaper options.

Funny you should mention that. I was just checking out the Fiio stuff. I don't mind spending that much if the quality is there. That one is definitely a possibility.

Edit:  Hmmm . . . I just noticed that it recommends phones in the 60 - 150 ohm range. I have 250 ohm Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro's. I wonder if that will be a problem?

Edit 2: These two also look interesting:

Bravo V2

Bravo Audio Ocean

I have that exact one, the FiiO E10K USB DAC and Headphone Amplifier. It's great! Unfortunately, I have the Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 80ohm :/

I wouldn't recommend the Fiio E10K to drive your 250 Ohm headphones.

Why not?  Google says it does > 2.5 Vrms, so should have plenty of voltage.
