Dropbox links and dynamic page error

Any ideas on how a regular user can get pics up into his posts using Dropbox? I have a TB of space over there but when I try to put the https link in "add image" tags it gives an error "Dynamic page links not allowed in IMG tags". I have the same error when I "View Original" in DB and try that (direct) link. Apparently ImageShack wants me to pay to link to an image larger than 280px, so that is out. Any ideas or suggestions? I am fairly new to code so I don't know how to just change up the code to make it go to the original.

Share link gets me this -

View Original gets me this -

I find it hard to believe Dropbox does not have this functionality. Or is it the site not compatible?
end the LOUDNESS war... please?

Ok. Hours later. It seems you have to have a direct link, which makes hella sense. It's good to know since I am desgning Wordpress sites for real money
Why doesn't Dropbox give you an option for a direct link? Maybe it does, let me know. For now this is what worked:

1. Get the "share link" by right clicking this would be the first link I posted.
2. delete all after .png . jpg etc...
3. replace www.dropbox.com with dl.dropboxusercontent.com
4. Insert with IMG tags

Annoying. But solved for now...
end the LOUDNESS war... please?

They used to have a "Public" folder, and copying link to an image in there gave you the direct link. In fact, creating a "Public" folder seems to trigger the functionality for me.
