iTunes Match—What happens if song is removed from/not in iTunes Store?

Hi,

I have read that iTunes Match, link a song with the iTunes Store catalog, and thanks to this method you can hear your music everywhere withous full your ipod with music.

But what suceed if a song/album is removed from iTunes Store for example why the album is too old?

I lost my Match?

I have tried to read all the Apple documentation but is not written this case scenario.

I've had iTunes match songs that were no longer available for sale. I'm guessing the songs remain on their servers but they just stop selling them in the iTunes Store.
