Converting FLAC to WAV

I've been using Foobar for some time and understand that before it can convert to "X" then a download is, normally, necessary.

However, I've searched through "Components" and can't find anything that will allow me to convert FLAC files (Originally WAV) back to WAV.

Am I just missing something?

Any help would be, very much, appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Right click on a FLAC in the playlist. What you want is 'Convert' > '...'

foobar shouldn't need anything extra to be installed because it already knows how to decode a FLAC and how to write a WAV.

Many thanks for the speed of response.

Before I posted, I tried clicking on the convert options and selecting WAV but it seemed that there was no way of saving the selection - So I assumed I needed something more.

Would you, please, be so kind as to tell me what to do, step by step - I've, already, loaded the FLAC files into Foobar and will then want to save them into a file for burning (I understand how to designate the file).

Thanks in advance.

EDIT!

Please forget my request.

I've now realised that the "back" option is self saving, so my files are converting as I type.

My apologies for being such a "thicko"!

Don't beat yourself up. I'm of the opinion that the converter interface went from "confusing" to "confusing differently" (though I appreciate the difficulty in creating UIs that service both the novice and the advanced user)
