The Flac file contains metablock with VendorString libFLAC 1.2.1 20070917 and Comment count as the norm. But before the Comment pairs (TITLE=Song Title) it contains a whole load of other fields seperated with : such as ResidualPartitionOrde and looseMidSideStere.

Anybody know what this is and whether it is valid, I though the VorbisComments pairs always came straght after the No OF Comments field.

thanks Paul

order of comments is not significant. those seem to be encoding parameters saved to comments for some reason.

They are not saved as comments though because not in name=value format, whatever encoded them must have a bug in it I guess, dont know what application was used to encode the file , but the file does contain the string ' reference libFLAC 1.2.1 20070917'
