I presume you're using some old phone. Check out the latest Nokia Nseries models' built-in player, he-he.

You know, there are rules on this forum, have you read it? Hit control-f and search for terms of service, pay attention to the #8.

Simply put, all your definitions such as poor or quality sound must be described in a more technical, scientific way and backed up by ABX testing.

By the way, I also use a Eseries phone, but consider switching to N, as they are more multimedia friendly.

All we need is FLAC/APE player with last.fm scrobbler, gapless playback and CUESHEET reader,
even for embedded ones. This comes to me in my dreams... But developers aren't hurry with
these features, I don't know why, because they have knowledge HOW... I can even pay
100$ for something like foobar for S60v3

You cannot distinguish FLAC/APE from 128 AAC/MP3 by your ears, can you?

Yes I can, because... I use Bluetooth stereo headphones to play my music from my Nokia N82.
Bluetooth profile A2DP uses loosy SBC codec. So - recompressing mp3's with it causes hearable
interferences especially in high freqs.

Using FLAC format to listen music this way results with one audio compression only, no two.
In this case, quality will be better, noticable

And, my all collection od CD's is stored as FLAC/APE files on harddisks and DVDs. Ability to
play them directly with one cute Symbian player is a need, not a whim of me.

Is there a reliable business instrument for selling S60 applications (like the iPhone store) which could prevent piracy? If there was I guess people will be developing the player like crazy!

Hi
I'm from Poland - sorry my English is not very well.
There is a impossible program - have a lot of lossless formats and supports the following audio file types: WAV, LPCM, FLAC, APE/MAC, AC3, MP3, OGG, AAC (ADTS) ... and CUE.
Look at this
http://sourceforge.net/projects/folderplay/files/
... and PLAY ALL
