Doesn't your phone support MP3 tones. I've also had my tones at 64kbits CBR Mono and they should great wink.gif

This does exactly that, and it's free: http://www.miksoft.net/mobileAMRconverter.htm

Another one that supports AMR is SUPER, also free, a suite that wraps an array of open-source tools for all sorts of conversions: http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

You can also download AMR source code from the 3gpp site:

only if you're keen on compiling stuff yourself of course...
