Just thought I'd share some custom buttons I made today.
They are blue buttons with a small reflection beneath them. On hover they turn gold, glow, and lose their reflection.

Really like them.  All that they are missing for me is a button for random playback.

Finally upgraded to .9, so I had to convert my old custom buttons.  Figured I'd share, just incase somebody else likes 'em simple...

The hot images enlarge the normal images ever so slightly...

Edit:Two years later, I realize I could use transparent backgrounds...

Here's some buttons I just made to match the Aquanox theme I'm using.  The .fcb does have hover images, I'm just too lazy to show them to you.
Thank you! I was just coming in here to try and find something that would match up with the aquanox theme, wasn't sure I would....and there you are! Perfect.

1) Right click on your buttons, choose "Customize" from the popup menu.
2) Click the [Tools] button at the bottom and select "Load from file..." from the popup menu.
3) Browse to the .fcb file you downloaded and click [Open].
4) Click [OK] and your new buttons should replace your old ones.

If you are creating your own buttons, remember that they need to all be the same height.  Only buttons the same height as the button with the largest height will show up.

all this does is make all my buttons dissappearrrrrrr

You have to add the files libpng13.dll and zlib1.dll to your main Foobar directory. I'm sure you can find them rather easily with Google.
