offset and ToC

OS is linux, I rip with cdparanoia.

using the utility cd-info, my drive is a BDDVDRW UH12NS29

According to http://www.accuraterip.com/driveoffsets.htm that gives me an offset of +667

Am I correct that this means I should rip with a -O 667 switch to cdparania, despite SCSI errors thrown at the end?

second - with a disc in the drive, cd-info gives me the following:

However if I rip to a single file and use those times for a cue sheet, it's 2 seconds off.
Is there a reason why it does that?

Should I just expect to always need to subtract the MSF value of the first audio track from all the tracks to get valid starting point, or am I not understanding something?

Well with several CDs now when I subtract the first MM:SS:NN from all the start positions, it is correct cue points - so I guess that is answered.
