masstagger question

Is there anyway to make the masstagger format tracknumbers with preceding zeros rather than the current method. When I use the freedb pluginto tag my files I can customize the way I format the tracknumbers. However if I am using the masstagger to set tags, and use the autonumber function, it seems that the preceding zero is not there and this throws the order of the tracks into disarray.

instead of tracks listed as 1,2,3, etc, they are displayed as 1,10,11, etc.

If the preceding zero was available, this problem would not exist.

I would appreciate any suggestions or pointers.

I think you can use the masstagger's scripting and title formatting to zero-pad numbers if neccessary. I'm no code master, so I can't help you on that. Maybe someone else can. :)

As an alternative, if you don't like "TRACKNUMBER=1" then you could use $num(%tracknumber%,2) in your title format string to make 1 show up as 01 in your playlist.

Thanks a lot! That takes care of it though it is kinda bothersome. A simple switch that sets one's preference for how the tracknumber is formatted would be so much nicer.
