Delay when opening files from applications except Explorer

Dear developers and users of Foobar2000,

I use version 1.3.4 beta 1 on virus-free Windows 7 SP1 x64 as administrator and face an annoying behavior:
a) media files opened directly from Explorer (shell), load and play immediately (and that's very cool, considered to be a normal state)
b) media files opened from 3rd party apps (FAR, Total commander, Double commander, Everything, etc), load with perceptible delay of ~1000-1500 ms

But there is no such delay (call from Explorer and 3rd party apps gives same results) if I use another media player. AIMP, for example.
Maybe there’s something wrong with my workspace, maybe it's a Foobar bug, let’s trace it. Could you help me?

P.S. I'm ready to record a screencast to illustrate the issue if it helps.

This is a known issue (well, not really an issue; it works this way by design). See here; the behavior can be fixed in Total Commander, but I don't use the rest of the file managers that you listed.

Thank you for a quick reply. I'm glad to know that issue is Foobar2000 related, let's proceed from here.

There are two obvious flaws with mentioned workaround:
a. it's time-consuming experience to map every necessary media extension (*.mp3/flac/opus etc) to Foobar /immediate switch within 3rd party file managers
b. it’s of no use with apps like Everything that use same Windows system default Open that causes painful delay

Am not a developer myself, but there should be a simple and nice solution implemented to this, right? Like some option in Advanced tab of Foobar2000.
In a word, computers are meant to make our life easier and speed up the routine, so could developers be so kind and do something about it?

You may be right, you may be not. It is up to the developers to decide.

In Total Commander, I use a custom command assigned to a hotkey which adds all selected files to foobar2000: "C:\Program Files (x86)\foobar2000\foobar2000.exe" /immediate /add %P%S, where %P%S is documented as follows:
Quote
%P%S insert the names of all selected files into the command line, with full path. Names containing spaces will be surrounded by double quotes. Do NOT put quotes around %P%S yourself!
