Playlist instant search: ignore diacritics?

I'm using fb2k v1.37, default user interface, pretty much everything at default setting. I have a few playlists with all my files on them, my playlist columns are: Item index; Playing; Artist/year/album (custom)/ Title; Duration.

I'm also a programmer, so I'll use the term focus here to refer I just clicked the UI element.

With the focus on a playlist, when I hit Ctrl+F the search popup opens, and the search ignores diacritics performing the search exactly how it should. For example, if I have "Céline" as an artist name, a search for "celine" will bring me it.

However, there's a kind of instant search on the playlist (I don't know the official name of it), where I can set the focus to the playlist and just start typing, and the playlist will highlight the first artist beginning with what I typed. It works great, except that it doesn't ignore diacritics... if I start typing "celine", it won't highlight the first "Céline". If I type "céline", however, it will highlight "Céline".

Please make this instant search ignore the diacritics too.

Thanks in advance.

What?  I want a search that does not ignore diacritics, so ... care to elaborate, anyone?
