Hi

I`m not good in english so i wrote short:

Artist: Sting

Album: The Soul Cages

Track: 01. Island Of Souls

You can hear it in first seconds of the song, exactly at 00:03

mp3 with 128 has no problems.

P.S. I can`t provide a clip

Just wondering, are you using -b 128 or -q 4?

Try ripping to wav and encoding using oggenc or oggdrop at -q 4

It's known that -q provides better quality than -b, so I recommend sticking with that.

The quality settings are true VBR so much more likely to deal with the odd tough segment in the best way, ie. fewer artefacts.
