is there a component for DUI that will display the contents of a text file from the folder of the currently playing track?

i want to set up artist bios, and this seems to be an easy way to do it...

sorry if this has been asked before, i searched quite a lot but came up with nothing...

thanks!

You have to use foo_textdisplay to show the textfiles: f.e. use %biography%

Edit
Use %biography% means:

Go to preferences of foo_textfile, create a variable, call this variable "Biography", enter the path - that's all!
Now go to foo_textdisplay, open its settings and use %biography% for display of file

it works!

i set the path to:
$replace(%path%,%directoryname%\%filename_ext%,bio.txt)

now i just need to add bio.txt to each artist folder smile.gif

Thanks a lot

foo_textdisplay is no good. it can't access the contents of text files. maybe someone will have a copy of this foo_textfile component they can upload and i've already suggested a WSH panel mod script i made in another thread.

Is there a way to use wildcards with this component? I'd like it to read any *.txt file, but I guess I already know the answer to my question...
