Nero is an all-purpose audio/data CD/DVD creation tool, with extensive support for different compressed audio formats such as VQF, WMA, MP3, and MP3Pro.

Change from Nero to

- The "Boot CD" property page will now allow boot image template volumes that are larger than 600MB for media other than CD. For example DVD's might contain boot data of 4GB, but the old dialog did not allow selection.

- Fixed overburning in "Wait CD" dialog. Previously, the CD would eject instead of asking the user for overburning if the CD was inserted more than once.

- When IMAPI disabling failed, try to switch to other running Nero.

- The content of the SCANDATA.DAT file was not written on SVCD.

- Fixed delete char bug when editing file name in the File Browser.

- Fix minimized compilation bug when using "Show Desktop".

- Fixed problem of reading CD-Extra in some CD-ROM drives when the data track not readable.

- The database dialog did not display CD entries with identical CDDB hash values correctly. Instead the same entry was displayed several times.

- Progress during the cache phase works smoother.

- Fixed main windows flickering during resize.

- "Burn Status" colors now repaint correctly on different desktop-settings while burning

- Fix invisible column text in High Contrast color setting.

- Prevented the user from creating an invalid audio track smaller than 4 seconds by splitting a track.

- DVD-R/RW drive support has been much improved.

- Fixed the crash at the end of CD autodetection.

- Added support for many new recorders.

- DAO mode is now present as default and active in CD Copy dialog and it is not changeable.

- Added support for "PowerBurn", "BURNfree" and "SafeLink".

- Added IMAPI lock for Windows XP

- Several improvements to comply with Windows XP Logo certification.
