Hi, this is my firs post here:where can i find comparison between mp3 (lame) and mp3pro codec??

But you better compare all codecs as there is ogg vorbis too!

MP3Pro will do a bit better than MP3 at 64kbps (and even then it has a very metallic sound) but is just bad for everything else. Unusable as a high-quality codec; standard MP3 is better for most music unless you need very small bitrates like 64kbps.
