I like!  I'm using the blue ones right now, and they look great with my fcs.  Thanks a lot!

i like them as well (the small ones), but they are two little annoyances :

1/ the background outside the circles is not transparent
2/ even using the small buttons, they increase the toolbar height, which I don't like

I have W2k SP4, lipng12.dll (dated 19/9/2004), zlib1.dll (dated 18/11/2003).

Any idea?

That's normal, hermik's icons are made like this (with the outside white circle)

Actually I believe he was speaking of the black background outside of the circles (see attached image). At least, that's my difficulty.

EDIT: I'm running WinXP SP2 and fb2k 0.8.3 with the latest libpng and zlib.

hmmm that's weird...

I'm using zlib.dll v1.2.2 (October 3rd, 2004) and libpng.dll v1.2.8 here... it works perfectly (transparency and all)

I'm trying to recreate the transparency problem with older version of zlib and libpng but I strongly suggest you to update these files to the latest version for security reasons anyway

zlib.dll 1.2.2 + libpng 1.2.8

I also have the same problem.
It seems that Win2K can't make black background transparent

edit: where do i make the buttons transparent and when i load fb2k it says i dont have libpng12.dll, but i have libpng13.dll. So what do i do...if i rename it to libpng12.dll it loads up fine.

Could you include the "special" button set in the "small" package, too? Thanks!

I'm getting the same problems with the black backgrounds as other users...I have downloaded various versions of the dll files, but still cannot get rid of them...

...has anyone else found a solution yet?

The PNGs in the button package are 32bit PNGs (24bit color w/ 8bit alpha channel).

If you refer to the other tab in the Columns UI configuration you will notice the following:
Quote
32-bit images with 8-bit alpha channel only supported on Windows XP and newer

If you are running Win2k or any of the crusty Win9x series, the transparencies on these buttons the way they are now won't work properly no matter what version of zlib and libpng you have.
