suggestion: rss release notification feed

Many software packages have a method for notifying users about new releases such as email alerts or rss feeds via blog entries or similar. foobar2000 announces new releases here on the forums only AFAICT. I personally find rss feeds very useful for being updated on new version releases for various software. Maybe the foobar2000 crew could consider adding such a feature to the foobar website for the users. Although its possible, I doubt I'd be the only one who would find this useful. Thank you for your consideration.

Don't know when or even this will ever happen. But this forum has its own RSS and you can also check a nice utility called webmon.

After checking many alternatives I'm now using http://www.changedetection.com/index.html for sort ware updates and such. It basically mails you when it, well, detects changes.

And for creating RSS feeds from RSS-less sites - http://www.ponyfish.com. All other sites I've found have limits for free users, and PonyFish does quite a good job.
Enjoy.

I've been trying to bug Peter to do this for years. I made a blog, fb2k.net, so that people could have such a notification. However, it requires a fair amount of effort to keep it up to date.
