New system for adaptive game music released

We at Elias Software are happy to introduce a new solution for adaptive video game music rendering that we call Elias (elastic lightweight integrated audio system).

The Elias engine is a new music system for video games. Its intention is to make video game music as dynamic and adaptable as a film score. It comes with a flexible authoring tool that helps the composer to structure and manage the various themes in the game and bridges the gap between the composer and level designer to ease integration of music into the game.

The engine is available in several different flavors (everything from a freeware license for non-commercial use, to a hobbyist/shareware license, to high budget commercial use). The first title to use our engine is Gauntlet, produced by Arrowhead and distributed by Warner Brothers which is scheduled for release later this year.
