Component licenses overview?

I have hardly if ever found any fb2k-component with a license. Are there e.g. any licensing clauses for the SDK that restrict the developers on this matter?

(BTW ... is it paranoid to suggest that foobar2000.org should maybe carry a general 'no warranty!' disclaimer for anything hosted, not only the fb2k license itself?)

Valid subject; I was actually planning to add a license display to the component installer system already.

There are no significant restrictions imposed by the SDK on this; there has been no mechanism to show a license on first run of a component before (especially not when all component installation was manual!)

BTW components are normally expected to show licenses in their about boxes.
