Crackles when changing FB2k's (internal) volume slider with ASIO o

Bug report:

Win 8.1 Pro
FB2k 1.33 & 1.34 (only ones tested; both affected)
Asus Essence ST PCI card & Sony USB DAC (only ones tested; both affected)
MP3, FLAC, WMA lossless(, ...) (not all files are affected)

I can hear crackles in the music being played when moving FB2k's (internal) volume slider when ASIO or WASAPI output modes are selected. No problem with DS output.

This is extremely annoying as I can hear these crackles with my HD650s when changing the volume with my mouse scroll wheel.

To test if your system is affected, play some (gentle & soft) music and move FB2k's (internal) volume slider rapidly back & forth with your mouse.
