Metflac error on some complex filenames...

I'm using metaflac to add missing replygain info to some tracks however on some complex filenames such as

Code: [Select]
"05 Symphonie No. 9 d-Moll, Op. 125_ V. Presto - _O Freunde, nicht diese Töne_ - Allegro assai - Alle.flac"

the program throws an error...

Quote
05 Symphonie No. 9 d-Moll, Op. 125_ V. Presto - _O Freunde, nicht diese Töne_ -
Allegro assai - Alle.flac: ERROR: reading metadata, status = "FLAC__METADATA_CHA
IN_STATUS_ERROR_OPENING_FILE"

The FLAC file could not be opened.  Most likely the file does not exist

I believe it's just a character set error..... no way to get in contact with author

Of course I can simply change the filename and run metaflac
