[TROLL] Why 0.9?

I don't get why 0.9 is even being developed the way it is.

1. all the components are broken
2. there are zero benefits aside from ALAC playback

I think that 0.8 could have been built upon to create a library management system akin to itunes.. but as it is, 0.9 is just a waste.
