[TOS #8] From: AIFF tagging not supported - alternatives?

I would like to see AIFF supported more completely as well.

My entire library is AIFF files. I chose raw PCM for sound quality reasons. Storage is cheap nowadays.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to compress their music library.

Why is that? I hope you are not flying in the face of mathematical fact by insinuating that lossless compression affects sound. If so, you can either provide evidence for this groundbreaking revelation in the world of digital audio, in accordance with #8 of the terms of service, or you can stop posting nonsense.

That’s nice for you. Other people perceive plenty of reasons, for both lossy and lossless compression. If this statement includes the latter, I reiterate my above objection.

My ears hear the difference. This has also been experienced by others as well.

I don't listen to data. The math means nothing to me.

Really not the point of my post but you asked.

Then your attitude is completely contrary to the ethos of this site, as explained clearly in its rules.

Why bother posting things that are blatantly inflammatory in a particular environment if you don’t want to be called out on them?

Indeed.
