I was encoding with Nero's plugin when i got this.

Also would it be possible to adjust the encoder's priority?  Normal is a bit high.

I don't know about the crash, but diskwriter priority can be set in the "Diskwriter" section of the prefs ("Thread priority" option).  Although I'm not sure if this affects things like Nero .

I saw a weird crash immediately after foo_neromp4 encoding yesterday (seems like it crashed in MP4 tag updater but I couldn't reproduce it no matter what). Perhaps Nero's libraries (and/or foo_neromp4 itself) do something funny.

What's wrong with big components directory? Mine consists of 89 dll's.. (Maybe I should check if I _really_ need all those plugins..)  The only "problem" I have because of tose plugins is that it takes ~2 seconds to open up foobar, but that doesn't bother me at all.

Foobar still loads almost instantly so I don't mind all the dlls.

I'm going to remove everything but the diskwriter and some decoders and see if i can get something i can duplicate.

My comment about component directory size was offtopic. Crash info logger was modified to write list of loaded DLLs to make it easier to pinpoint exact source of the problem, which in this case appears to be either Nero's AAC encoding library, or foo_neromp4; I can reproduceably crash it by encoding multiple AAC files at once (doesn't seem to have problems with single-instance operation though), Menno reproduced it too. The problem has been reported to Ivan from what I've heard.
