Hi,

I'm using the Foobar playcount plugin that tracks the amount of times I have played a track. I have two questions:

1. Is there a way to directly and manually edit the value?
2. Every time the playcount updates (after listening to the track for 60 seconds), the track list jumps back to the top. Is there any way to prevent this?

Thanks

1.

Assuming you're referring to the Playback Statistics component (AKA foo_playcount),

Directly? No. The component has its own database in which it stores the info.

Manually? Yes. You can export the info to the files' tags, edit those values, then import the edited info back into the database (personally, if I were to ever do this, I would remove those tags from the files afterward to remove any chance of accidentally importing outdated info at a later date).

2.

Isn't the obvious answer to remove sorting by play count in the autoplaylist?

Or you could send the items to a standard playlist and listen from it instead.

It jumps back to the top even when I am sorting the tracks by name, date modified, etc.
